Born in Monroe, Parris was the son of Paul and Zelma (Nolf) Angel. After graduating from Trenton High School, he went on to faithfully serve his country in the United States Army. Parris then worked for over 30 years at Ford Motor Company, retiring in 2004. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing cards and watching Jeopardy, but his favorite times were those spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Parris leaves to cherish his memory his children: Rick (Lori) Angel of Monroe, Michael (Rose) Angel of Germany, Bobby (Jacque) Angel Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Alex (Claudia) Angel of Germany, Kimberly (Gary) Hogan of Monroe, Jared Angel of Newport, Jason Angel of Newport and Amber Angel of Los Angeles, California; grandchildren: Kristi, Jacob, Vanessa, Michael, Jason, Kandus, Kory, Bailey, Justin, Madison, Lennon, Everly and Denver; as well as 7 great grandchildren; brothers: Dave (Barb) Angel of Florida, Bill (Chela) Angel of Los Angeles, California, Chuck (Lori) Angel of Kentucky and his sisters: Jean (John) Long of Kalkaska, Judy (Dick) Weagan of Kentucky and Loretta (John) Stoker of Grosse Ile. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Thomas Angel, Larry Angel, Paul Angel and Jack Angel; and two sisters: Donna Lincoln and Sandra Angel.
