Frank Earl Smith, age 85, of Trenton, peacefully passed away at home Saturday, July 22, 2017 surrounded by his family. Survived by his loving wife of 60 ½ years Shirley, his 3 children, Kathy, Rob (Jill) and Bill (Tina). 8 grandchildren; Jenni (Ryan), Amy (Dennis), Brad, Brett, Justin, Chris, Jon, Jacob and one great grandchild, Colton and his sister Linda Weedon. Frank served in the Marine Corps for 2 years and 35 years with the Trenton Police Department. Visitation will be held in honor of Frank on Tuesday July 25, 2017 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the Trenton Chapel Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. A funeral service will be held the following day Wednesday July 26, 2017 at 11:00am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may also be made to Beaumont Hospice or Trenton Food Pantry.
