Born October 16, 1928 in Newport, Dale was the son of Merrill and Myrtle (Fix) Cousino. After graduating from high school, he faithfully served his country in the United States Army from November 3, 1950 until November 8, 1952. Dale married the love of his life, Shirley Soncrant, on May 8, 1954 and from this union they would have three children: Renee, Frances and Therese. Dale was a Carpenter for most of his career, first for Cousino Construction in Dearborn and then for over 10 years with Ford Motor Company in Monroe. Retiring in 1990. A faithful member of St. Mary, Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Rockwood as was as a Member of the Knight of Columbus Council #1266 in Monroe.
Dale leaves to cherish his memory, Shirley, his wife of the past 63 years; children: Renee Cousino-Marshke of Northport, Florida, Frances (Alan) Cousino-Roberts of Newport and Therese (Don) Wallace of Monroe; 6 grandchildren: Daryl (Amy) Marshke, April Marshke, Michael (Megan) Roberts, Andrew (Nikola) Roberts, John Wallace and Bryan Wallace; 1 great grandchild; McKenna Roberts; as well as a sister Marilyn Wickenheiser of Carleton. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions in honor of Dale may be made to Tidewill Hospice of Florida, Hospice of Michigan or St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rockwood.
