Tribute & Message From The Family

Helen (Sue) Moore, age 70, passed away on November 4, 2018 at her home in Carleton. She was born June 24, 1948 to George and Helen Jewell.
She married Tom Moore on October 19, 1968, and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Sue graduated from Monroe High School and went to work in the insurance industry. She worked for the Smith Agency before becoming a mother, and eventually returned to work at the Poupard Agency, where she continued to work part time. She was also actively involved in Monroe Collision Service as a co-owner.
Sue was a devote wife, mother, and grandmother. Just as she had done for her girls, she loved to attend as many of her grandchildren's activities as possible. When time allowed, she and Tom would head north to their cabin in Fairview, Michigan. Sue loved riding through the trails looking for wildlife.
Sue is preceded in death by her father, George. She is survived by her husband Tom; her mother Helen; her daughters: Becky (Eric) Wiklendt and Heather (Nicholas) Burkhart; and grandchildren: Keeley, Quinn, Allie, and Fiona.
In accordance with Sue's wishes cremation arrangements are being held.

I have been searching for the words and still can't find them except to say Jerry and I send our deepest sympathy to you all. Our families grew up together and Sue will always be remembered with love by all of us. Even though we were all busy and didn't see each other as often as when the kids were young we still knew she would be there if we needed anything. The past years it was talking about the grandkids at the mailbox and we would giggle and smile. Again we haven't talked to you but please let us know if there is anything we can do to lend a hand.

I will miss Susie in so many ways from her strong ( more than often Right ) opinion, attention to detail & responsibility, her laugh & numerous reports & sharing her love about her family ( especially her grand kids ) , always being available to lend a hand or ear to whatever she could do as my friend & confidante .
I have been blessed to have her in my life and the numerous memories that will always remain with me until it is time for me to leave. I will also miss her annual raspberry pie, that I looked forward to on my birthday and the best bean soup I have ever had.
Saying that our Sue was loved and will be missed is an understatement but she will be remembered even more then she could ever believe by so many that she touched their life in a positive way. Sue made me want to be a better Agent & even better Man because of her friendship.
I have the extension of Sue in her family to remain & remind in the presence of her husband Tom, daughters Becky & Heather , sons in laws Eric & Nick and those beautiful grand kids Keeley, Quinn, Allie & Fiona that she spoke about freely & shared .
Prayers of Peace & Love to ALL of Sue's immediate Family and that tears of sadness will turn to Joy that a loving & gracious God thru His Son Jesus will be with them at this time of sorrow but also in the days ahead.
